Autumn Meditation
The old man asked for help
Searching among the shelves of the co-op
For green tea, honey, and ginger
A conclusion of his meditation
He was so calm, resolute, and congenial
The surrounding hills were fired in autumn multicolored hues
The sky a steel gray.
